Early in 2020 two of our engineers traveled to Alabama, USA to install the latest Deben CT 20kN Open Frame testing rig at Auburn University.
The system is a testing rig capable of applying tensile and compression force up to 20kN and torsion of 100Nm while simultaneously rotating the sample for continuous X-Ray CT or Synchrotron observation.
The University have the Open Frame rig integrated with their Pinnacle X-ray Solutions Inc. PXS-500/90 CT system (pictured below). They already have a long list of tests planned to run on their new Open Frame system and we look forward to seeing the results.
We wanted to share some images from this exciting installation and look forward to helping many more customers with these systems in the future!
