Production Manager: 

Competitive salary dependant on experience, plus benefits
As a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation based in Woolpit, Bury St. Edmunds, we are looking to fill a permanent role reporting to our Operations Director. As a member of our management team you will be responsible for day to day running of our production department. Ensuring smooth operation of our MRP system, providing on time deliveries and ensuring high quality levels are maintained.
Responsibilities to include:
* Management of our computerised MRP system.
* Supervision of assembly and test team ensuring high levels of morale
* Ensuring on-time, on-cost and on-quality deliveries
* Reporting monthly production KPI’s to the board
 Candidate Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal, employee management and motivational skills
* Minimum qualifications must include a formal qualification in mechanical or electronics engineering, with at least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Be able to work with careful attention to detail ensuring specification and quality standards are met.
* Knowledge of MRP software, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RoHS, CE and LVD directives.
* Excellent computer literacy, verbal and written communication skills.
* Good time management, prioritisation and organisational skills with careful attention to detail.
Knowledge and experience of the following will give applicants an advantage:
* Hands on experience of Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience of small batch manufacturing.
* Implementation and management of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.

Test Engineer: 

Competitive salary dependant on experience, plus benefits
As a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation based in Woolpit, Bury St. Edmunds, we are looking to fill a permanent role reporting to our Production Manager. As a member of our test team, duties would be to test electromechanical modules and systems prior to customer despatch.
Responsibilities to include:
* Test and repair electromechanical sub-assemblies and full systems.
* Work with careful attention to detail ensuring specification and quality standards are met.
* Create test procedures and reports.
 Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum qualifications must include a formal qualification in electronics preferably with at least 2 years’ experience within an electronic manufacturing and test environment.
* Familiarity with electronic components and their in-circuit functionality.
* Fault-finding down to component level.
* Good computer literacy, verbal and written communication skills.
* Good time management, prioritisation and organisational skills with careful attention to detail.
Knowledge and experience of the following will give applicants an advantage:
* Knowledge of vacuum practices, electron microscopy, video processing or materials testing

Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician: 

Competitive salary dependant on experience, plus benefits
As a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation based in Woolpit, Bury St. Edmunds, we are looking to fill a permanent role reporting to our Production Manager. As a member of our assembly team, duties would be primarily mechanical assembly with some electrical wiring and soldering.
Responsibilities to include:
* Mechanical assembly of precision scientific instrumentation
* Wiring and assembly of control units
* Computer based record keeping
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience of soldering
* Good attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
* Good manual dexterity
* Be IT literate with an understanding of MS Office software
* Able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels in the business, be flexible in nature, able and willing to adjust to the changing needs of the business
* Qualifications in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering would be advantageous
Knowledge and experience of the following will give applicants an advantage:
* Knowledge of workshop practices and experience using workshop machinery
* Experience of working in manufacturing environment
