CT5000™ – In-Situ Tensile & Compression with Temperature Control for X-ray CT

In collaboration with the major manufacturers of µXCT systems including ZEISS, RX Solutions, Tescan/XRE, Nikon, Bruker and Waygate, Deben offers an integrated tensile and compression testing solution for your µXCT applications. Tensile and compression testing with µXCT provides a clear visual interpretation of how the properties of materials and composites change under different loading conditions. The compact design of these testing stages allow them to be used with the smallest high resolution micro CT systems providing a range of tensile and compression stages with forces up to 5kN. Systems are controlled from the comprehensive Deben Test Suite software giving a wide range of control functions and a live display of load versus extension and supplied with all required cabling and mounting adaptors for specific µXCT systems.

The latest generation CT5000™ system showcases a modular design, providing user-installable upgrades and lower total cost of ownership with expanded functionality. The new design also offers better high-resolution performance for imaging as the stage can be more easily positioned close to the X-ray source.  We’ve also included a third sample support screw for loading tensile samples, making setup of thin tensile samples much easier because of the added stability.
